I'm a Copy Cat...

A couple of months ago, a sweet facebook/blogger friend, Christy from Confessionsofaserialdiyer.com shared a makeover that she did.  I stumbled over to her blog way back when she rebuilt her sectional sofa and have been hooked ever since.  I especially love her projects that include burlap.  One makeover she shared was a cute storage case...

a little paint, some dark wax and pretty french fabric and my case has a new look!

I think it looks great especially with the fabric!

Bike riding and the beach!

It's been a few months since my last post.  Where does the time go? Summer is finally in full swing. My house is all about summer.  Time to relax, soak in the sun and enjoy family time.

It's a gorgeous day so let's take a bike ride....

grab a bike and start peddling.....

just in case, I always have extra bikes for company...

maybe we should peddle down to the beach for a picnic..........
